BSE / NSE Sensex – The stock market opened sharply on Friday. Both the Sensex and the Nifty have seen a gain of 0.50 per cent. At the same time, the Nifty has once again crossed the 12 thousand mark.
New Delhi: The stock market opened with a green mark on Friday. The BSE Sensex opened at 40,754.82 points and opened up to 40,859.21 points, gaining 277.50 points from the previous trading day. At the same time, the Nifty has also gained momentum. The Nifty opened with a gain of about 0.50 per cent and reached the level of 12,034.60.
Most of the shares in the stock market rose on Friday. The stock market has strengthened by about 1 per cent due to the strength in the banking sector’s stock. Both the Sensex and the Nifty have closed with a green mark. The BSE Sensex gained 438.81 points to end at 41,020.52 points, while the Nifty gained 114.10 points to 12,085.90 points.
Axis Bank shares have gained more than 4 per cent. Apart from this, shares of Vedanta, Maruti, SBI, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel, Yes Bank, TCS, Tata Motors, LT, HDFC etc. gained momentum. On the other hand, Bharti Airtel shares have fallen the most. Its shares have fallen by over 2 per cent.
Most of the stock has been rising at the time of market opening. The shares of Kotak Bank, Bharti Airtel and Bajaj Auto have seen a slight decline. At the same time, Vedanta’s stock rose 3.92 percent. In addition, Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Yes Bank, SBI, TCS, Mahindra & Mahindra, IndusInd Bank, Maruti, etc., have been gaining momentum.
The Sensex had gained 169 points to close at 40,581.71 on Thursday. There was a spurt in stocks of banks and metal companies. On the other hand, the National Stock Exchange’s Nifty was up 61.65 points, or 0.52 percent, at 11,971.80 points. Tata Motors was the biggest gainer in the Sensex shares at 7.17 per cent.
