New Delhi: Many statistics have come up about the employment situation across the country, due to which it is clear that there is a decline in Rogajar in the country, but this is not the case with IT professionals. As demand for digital technology increases, non-eyed companies are also hiring technology professionals. Many companies like Vedanta, Tata Steel, RPG, Philips, Whirlpool and Dobber are investing in digital technology to improve their productivity and efficiency. 

According to a business newspaper report , the HR chief said that companies providing manufacturing, retail, banking and financial services are developing state-of-the-art technology, for which they need tech professionals. 

Vedanta’s Group Chief HR Officer Madhu Srivastava said, “We are hiring Tech Professionals because it makes business sense.” These save people time for us to work, reduce the risk of decline, which directly affects the total expenses and total profit of the company.

Anil Aggarwal’s natural resource company – which is considering to bring blockchain technology, artificial intelligence and surveillance systems for shopping and sourcing. The company is hiring people for smart manufacturing, industrial cyber security, digital capital management projects and other functional digital projects. 

RPG Group which has started its digital journey with the appointment of Chief Digital Officer for tire making Ceat. The group’s HR head S Venkatesh said that KEC International, the company’s construction subsidiary, has started appointing data analysts, data scientists and AI professionals a few years ago. 

R Suresh, Founder, Executive Search Consultancy Insist, said, “Digital manufacturing, marketing, research and development and human resources are being embedded in every function. Professionals are in demand from every domain.

On the other hand, Tata Steel is hiring new technology graduates. The country’s largest steel making private company has targeted to be ranked among the advance global steel companies as the country’s top 5 technology.
