Train 18: Second Vande Bharat Express trial between Delhi and Katra completed

Railways have completed preparations to run the second Vande Bharat Express. This train will run from Delhi to Katra. This will increase the convenience of travelers going to Vaishno Devi. Know here the complete schedule of this train.

New Delhi: The country’s second Vande Bharat Express is fully ready. This train will run between Delhi and Katra. This train will be run by North Zone of Indian Railways. Vande Bharat Express is also known as Train 18.

According to a report, the test run of Train 18 between this route has been completed on 22 July. Train 18 will return today to Delhi. The Vande Bharat Express departed from New Delhi at 6 am. On the way to Katra, the train reached Katra at 2 am with a 2-minute stop at Ambala Cantonment station.

The second train will run 3 days in 18 weeks on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. If the traffic is good then the train will be reduced to 5 days a week.
Earlier, there were reports that the train will reach Katra at 6 am from Delhi. On the same day, the train will leave Katra at 3 pm and reach Delhi at 11 pm.

The Vande Bharat Express will run at a speed of 130 kmph. The train will stop at Ludhiana, Ambala and Jammuutvi stations for 2 minutes. Currently, it takes 12 hours to travel between Delhi and Katra by train. This time will be reduced from 4 hours to 8 hours with the running of the Vande Bharat Express.

Some changes have been made in this train compared to the old Vande Express. The new Vande Bharat Express has more space for pantry. The anti-spell flim has been installed so the train windows are not broken by stone. This train is made entirely in India.

The first Vande Bharat Express is running between New Delhi to Varanasi. Flight-like facility is available in this train. Its fare is also higher than the common train. Distance between the big cities of the country is being reduced by these new trains. On the other hand, care is being taken to ensure convenience for people in traveling. This train can run at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour.

The train fare between Delhi to Varanasi is Rs 1760. The fare for the executive class is Rs 3310. How much will be the fare between Delhi to Katra, it has not been disclosed yet, but the fare may be around it according to the distance and time. Every coach of this train has an emergency switch. Train doors open automatically.
